What Is Harmony (ONE)?
Harmony is a blockchain platform that makes it easier to create and use decentralised apps. The network focuses on random state sharding, which allows for the creation of blocks in seconds, with the goal of revolutionising the way decentralised apps work.
According to the project’s website Harmony has introduced until the end of 2021 cross-shard contracts and a cross-chain infrastructure.
What Makes Harmony Unique?
The Harmony mainnet promises to reinvent block creation by focusing on processing speed and validity. The organisation dramatically lowered node validation times by implementing the sharding technique.
Harmony established the Verifiable Random Function (VRF) for impartial and unpredictable shard membership to protect nodes and secure the validation process. This means that nodes and validators are randomly assigned and re-assigned.
Harmony Grants is a project initiative aimed at supporting innovation and attracting developers to the Harmony mainnet.
Tokenomics
The maximum quantity of Harmony (ONE) tokens is 12,600,000,000. The market’s circulation supply is around 9,486,327,268 ONE as of February 2021.
The original seed sale accounted for 22.4 percent of the total quantity of ONE tokens. A further 12.5 percent was put aside for a Launchpad sale. 16.9% of the entire supply went to the Harmony founding team and developers. A total of 26.4 percent of ONE tokens were allocated to protocol development, with the remaining 21.8 percent going to ecosystem development.
Personal Thoughts
I intend to enter with money in a couple of days and to get out money around $0.35. At the time of writing the price is $0.18.
The all time high was recent in January, 16, 2022, at the price of $0.35. I personally think this have potential to touch $0.4 this year.
